How is the death of the people who reject faith?

The case of those who disbelieve in this life,who reject faith either openly or in practice, including those who refer to themselves as Muslims but in practice they are not Muslims,those who reject Islam as a way of life will have a terrible end, in this life and in the next. Allah says in the Quran in Chapter Taha (20), verse 124:

وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ

“And whoever turns away from my remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and we will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”

Whoever goes away, turns away from the remembrance of Allah will have a wretched life. It may not be apparent to us, as it may be that their life is a pleasurable life, even though they are open disbelievers such as the super-rich. Everybody wishes to have lives like theirs, but when you go into their life you find wretchedness spiritually and psychologically, and they are never satisfied with what they have and worry of people stealing from them. There are pleasures in their life like there is in a poor person’s life. However, the pleasure, which you find in a poor person’s life despite the economic state he comes from, is contentment which comes from accepting the decree of Allah, and this can never be bought.

But when those who die and have turned away from the remembrance of Allah, their soul is torn out of their body; a painful extraction. The angel of death tears it out; it’s not an easy death. It may seem easy and simple, like Hitler who died quickly and easily, however what we are talking about is that which is beyond our vision.
