If a man can wipe over his turban during wudoo, can a woman also wipes over her hijab? If we have to do wudoo in a public restroom, can we wipe over our shoes or only socks can be wiped?

It is permissible for a woman to wipe over her khimar (head cover) in the case of necessity, such as, when it is very cold or it is difficult to take off her hijab and put it back on.

It is permissible to wipe over shoes provided that they cover the ankles and they are difficult to remove.
