Who are the people of the fatrah?

People who are in between the period of the Prophet (ﷺ) are called the people of the interval al fatrah. These people, according to authentic narrations from the Prophet (ﷺ), will be brought back and given a second chance. Anybody who did not receive the message, it didn’t come to them, they will be given a second chance prior to the actual judgement. They will be brought back and Allah will send a messenger to them who will explain about Allah etc. and then give them a command to enter what appears to them to be fire. And those who enter it will go on to Paradise. Those who refuse will go on to Hell. There is a number of narrations to that effect its authentic. But these are those who did not receive the message due to the fact that they were deaf, dumb and blind. They were retarded. They died as children. They were in far off places where the message just never got. These people are in that category.
