Is there any Qur’anic verse or hadith to support the statement that ‘the innate nature of human fitrah is good’?

Abraham Marlow hierarchy of needs points out that after we humans satisfy our survival and social needs, we strive for self actualisation.

Islam provides the comprehensive path or deen to achieve that. Human prowess such as being very intelligent cannot substitute guidance. Recall times when we plan but divine intervention stall, actualise or better the plans?

From the perspective of Islam, our 4 sources of fiqh include Qur'an,  Hadith, Ijma (consensus of the scholars) and Qiyas (analogical reasoning). There are differences between groups as well as between individuals not to mention within an individual himself. So my perspective is angels are created to do only good while the Iblis, la’natullah, only evil. Man has free will. Then we will be accounted for our choices. But if we pray to be saved from astray and have faith and do good works then the balance scale will tip over the jannah over naar.
