Does Eid al-Adha prayer takes the place of Zuhur prayer, or am I mistaken?

Salatul Eid does not replace Zuhur prayer. However, if it occurs on Friday it can replace Salatul Jumu'ah. It is optional to pray Jumu'ah or not if one has prayed Salatul Eid.
