What are the consequences of not having established a Muslim Community?

To answer this, let me first ask you a question: how many Muslim youth do we see in the jails? One brother who works with the jail told me that in virtually every jail there are huffadh; and they didn't become hufffadh in jail, they are huffadh as kids who ended up in jail. This is the consequence of not establishing a Muslim community for the sake of Allah. What Muslims have to do is to make hijra here in the UK to choose various town cities, etc. and congregate there, become the majority, be able to influence what takes place in that city, eradicate corruption, and establish within the overall framework of British society a legal system and Islamic order. This is something that is possible and is a challenge we face today. Islamic conferences bring us together for a moment, but imagine if we could all actually live here, what the difference would be and what we could do here. This is the regular norm for salatul jumu'ah, that a masjid is filled to the rafters. We need Muslim institutions that would arise in this community. If we try and can't find people to do it, then we seriously need to think of moving elsewhere. There are other communities in UK where Muslims can congregate; in fact, an element of hijra is already taking place. There are Muslim stores and Muslim schools in the middle of the community. We need to seriously consider what is happening to ourselves and our families if we continue to live as we live now.

All that is mentioned above can be derived from this great verse:

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.”[1]
