There is a hadith about tahajjud, wherein Allah descends on the sky close to earth and answers the prayers. Please explain.
There is a hadith, which is known as the hadith-al –nuzool,
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Our Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when the last third of the night remains, and He says, ‘Who will call Me that I might answer him, who will ask of Me that I might give him, who will ask My forgiveness, that I might forgive him?'' [1]
It says that Allah descends in the last third of the night which is different in different parts of the world. How is it possible that Allah is descending in the last third of the night which is different around the world?
If Allah says He descends, we believe He descends. How, we do not know. We may not have the capacity to comprehend that. Yes, there are certain things that we have to believe in, and we may not be able to understand the logic behind it, but that’s what belief is all about. Allah descends; He descends in a manner that befits Him, that befits His Majesty.
And Allah knows best.

One reply on “Allah descends on the Seventh Heaven during last third of the Night”
Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarkatuhu
my contribution is that lets increase the act of ibadat during the last third of the night
because as believers we belief in every single part of the hadith and thats what make us muslims
to believe in the unseen.
ALHAMDULILLAH
