How are the rhetoric groups categorized in Islam?
Most of the rhetoric groups generally fall in the following categories:
- Ahl-ul-kalaam
- Jahmeeyah
- Mu'tazilah
- Contemporary khawaarij
- Contemporary shee'ah
- Asha'arees
- Maatureedees
- Shee'ah
- Imaameeyah
- Zaideeyah
- Baatinees
- Ismaa'eelees
- Bohrah
- Durooz
- Sufism
- Naqshabandees
- Teejaanees
- Rifaa'ees
- Shaadhilees
Sometimes, (especially in modern groups) there is an overlap, as the group may follow more than one classical sect in different areas. [1]
