Can a person be named Abdul Mumeet?

Al-Mumeet is one of the Names of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the meaning of which is: the One Who Causes Death; just like one of the Names of Allah is al-Muhyee, the One Who Gives Life. However, it is not permissible to name someone as Abdul-Mumeet because there are some Names of Allah that cannot be mentioned alone, rather they must be coupled with their opposite, because perfection only occurs by coupling the two names together, such as al-Muqaddim (the One Who Brings Forth) and al-Mu’akhkhir (the One Who Puts Back); al-Qabid (the Withholder) and al-Basit (the Granter of Ample Provision); and in the same way al-Mumeet (the One Who Causes Death) and al-Muhyee (the One Who Gives Life). So they take the course of one Name, and thus are not mentioned except when coupled together, thereby making it impossible and impermissible to name someone as a slave of only one of them.

And Allah knows best.
