Who are the people whose evil deeds will be changed to good as mentioned in a hadith?

Or what do we need to do to qualify for this, in sha Allah?

Those whose evil deeds will be changed to righteous deeds are the ones who sincerely repented from their sins and fulfilled the conditions of an acceptable repentance, which are: stopping the sin immediately, regretting it, and having the determination to never return to it again. This includes the disbelievers who accept Islam, as well as believers who repented from their former sins.

Allah says in reference to the Slaves of Ar-Rahman:

“And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever does this shall receive a punishment. Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.”[1]

Ibn Rajab says regarding the changing of evil deeds into good deeds:

“The changing of deeds is for he who is regretful over his sins and has them in mind, such that every time he remembers them he increases in fear, worry, shyness of Allah and in hastening to good deeds that compensate for them, as Allah said:

“Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds.”[2]

All of what we have mentioned comes under good deeds, and whoever’s condition is such, he would swallow the bitterness of remorse and regret over his evil deeds multiple times more than what he tasted of their sweetness when he committed them, and every evil deed of his would turn into a cause for good deeds that would erase them. Thus, he would no longer denounce these evil deeds changing into good deeds after this.” [Jami` al-`Ulum wal-Hikam (1/300)]

May Allah make us from among the Slaves of Ar-Rahman.

And Allah knows best.
