What do the Mu’tazillites mean when they say Quran is created?

Do they exist now and if yes how do we deal with them?

The Mu’tazilite, we could say were born with the Khawarij, those who first broke off from mainstream Islam, who were known to hold the opinion that one who commits a sin will be held in Hell forever which became the main belief of the Mu’tazila later on; when one commits major sin he will never come out of it. The Shi’ites have that in their belief system, also the Ibaadies of Oman have similar belief today.

The problem here is disseminating true knowledge. We need to utilize all the means to spread this knowledge as much as we can. Perhaps because most of us have busy lives and we only tend to come together on weekends, and the knowledge tends to go beyond ourselves. We are not really applying the instruction of the Prophet (ﷺ) who said, “Convey from me even it be a verse.” We have neighbors, friends, classmates, we all have and sure they have these beliefs which we talked about. Who is going to take it them, the da’ee of the center? He is going to everyone saying this? Who is going to do that? Prophet (ﷺ) is the one carrying the message to us. He (ﷺ) is mercy to all worlds. Is he (ﷺ) carrying the message to us individually? No. It is your duty to carry the message to others individually.

The twenty sifaat are taught in schools in Malaysia and schools take exams on it. How do we deal with this situation when the alternative schools teaching the methodology of the Salaf are limited? We need to set up more schools. If there are not enough schools, we have to put them up. We have to develop material, which can be subtly put forward to authorities or we should raise ourselves to such positions where we can effect changes.

Through electoral politics, try to reach those sensitive areas and we try to reach those sensitive areas and be leaders of education. If we see all the graduates or PhD. in educational administration, how many have understanding of the Salaf? We can’t even count them on fingers, there are zero.

If we feel there is responsibility to carry this message then we have to choose and focus on the key areas where we are able to influence, this educational process. We cannot do, otherwise setting up alternative school is only temporary top gap and it is only affecting a small gap. More importantly we need to have people who can influence and open the door of this correct understanding of Aqeedah.
