Is it alright to use inauthentic hadith in ‘aqeedah?
The general principle is that it is not permissible to use inauthentic hadith in ‘aqeedah, unless there are other authentic reports which support it, or there are several inauthentic reports which cause the initial inauthentic narration to become stronger, and hence cited as evidence.
